Diane is a watercolor painter trained in architecture and environmental studies. Her paintings reflect her interest in the overlap between natural and developed environments – how geology and water patterns inform land use and cultural development, and how, in turn, the development of land impacts the natural environment.
Diane’s academic background includes undergraduate studies at Stanford University, graduate studies in architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduate studies in environmental management at Yale University. Life experiences include practicing architecture, raising a family, research work on the environment and land use, and work with local community organizations.
